PET TREATER and Brown Dog Foundation!

We at Pet Treater believe in giving back to amazing organizations that support many things and causes. We find that some of the BEST causes involve our sweet animals/fur babies! We love to gift boxes/packs for amazing foster programs and to give to a local charity to help raise money for animals too.

For the last 5 years or so Pet Treater has been very active with working with Brown Dog Foundation. From hosting Facebook auctions and Wine Dinners, to actively spreading the good news about this worthwhile organization, a lifelong relationship and friendship has been developed.

Brown Dog Foundation looks to bridge the gap between the cost of medical care and saving the family pet. Many do not have the ability to pay for expensive life-saving procedures for their pets, and Brown Dog Foundation through grants and funding try to help when they can. There is an application process of course and they cannot always guarantee the funds will be there for all families, that is why they continuously need financial support at any level.

A Gift Named Gus

After tumors began to grow on Gus’ eyelid, his mom turned us for help. Due to employment hour cut backs, her pay had been reduced, but she kept looking until she found the help she needed through Brown Dog. A Brown Dog Grant through our VetBilling Repayment Fund was just the answer! His mom was able to pay for the procedure over time at an affordable cost that fit her budget. Click Here to read more about Gus!

The above story is just one of the MANY that BDF has been able to assist with after receiving generous funding and donations from people just like all of us reading this: those that just love the pets SO much!
