Pet Treater is proud to be located in Eastern Tennessee, the Volunteer state and home to Dolly Parton. We are also proud to have some of the tastiest food trucks in the South!
Central Filling Station is doing it right in Eastern TN. When we chatted with the creators of this outside “food truck park “, we were delighted to learn they had brought some of their Texan roots to TN: We actually moved to Knoxville from Austin, TX, about 4 years ago. Food truck parks are a big thing there! One of the things we love about them is that all of them are a little bit different depending on their location. We have really enjoyed being able to create something that we feel integrates well into the Knoxville community.
I was delighted to learn that this is the first of it’s kind in TN too! What can get even better than the amazing food varieties offered here, the fun-filled hospitality of the vendors and owners? Bringing your best friend to the pawty of course! Doggies are 100% welcome here!
When asked if they planned on expanding, they stated not at the moment, looking to really grow this location and make it great. But, they also said, “ya never know!” Hey we will take that!
Believe it or not, this unique location located at 900 N. Central Street in Knoxville estimates they served over 20,000 unique customers last year. Keep in mind, this is only a seasonal gig here–as all Tennesseans know our weather can get a little crazy!
ROTATION MAKES IT GREAT:
This is a thriving business that offers the customer variety, the business owner of the food truck exposure, and the doggies a place to play and be a part of the family! Knoxville, TN has a very extensive food truck scene which is great for business and the taste buds! Out of 100 permitted trucks in the Knoxville area, Central Filling Station has approximately 30 on rotation and you can always find your favs on their schedule of events!
IT GETS EVEN BETTER:
When asked if they host live music/events: We do. Starting in April, we’ll have live music every Friday. We host several different types of events at our space, including a seasonal corn hole league, non profit nights, themed food nights and lots more!
Our website and social media accounts are the best way to keep track of our upcoming events. It’s pretty early in the season right now, but we’ll start announcing those as we move closer to summer. We also have a full menu of craft beer, ciders and non-alcoholic beverages.
GIVING BACK:

Our Cans for a Cause series is a monthly nonprofit night that will start in June this year. We’ll do 4 of these events and typically pick local organizations that are centered around dogs, families, and outdoor space! Keep an eye on our social media accounts for announcements about our 2020 nonprofit partners.
