Meet Franklin!
Franklin is ~5yrs old and appears to be a 70# bulldog-boxer mix. “Frankie” was ditched in a shelter twice in TN in the last 18 months, through no fault of his own. He is sweet and submissive with the pushy female dog he is living with but sometimes gets over excited when meeting new dogs on walks. He has extremely intense prey drive, so no cats or other small animals. He is house broken but not crate trained and a smarty-pants in that he learned how to scale baby gates and open tension gates.
He loves walks, playing with other dogs, and cuddling with both people and dogs. He can be pushy for attention/affection and will paw at you and push his way into your lap. He gives lots of sloppy kisses. He can be a little stubborn when given a command, but knows “sit”, “high five” and how to be a gentleman when getting his leash put on/off. Franklin has some health issues in that he has significant food and other allergies and is rather bald.
His forever home needs to be committed to keeping him on high quality grain free food and treats and benedryl as needed.
