Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway – October 2015 Box
The name “best friend” is bantered around a lot in today’s world – everybody has a BFF (Best Friend Forever). I think that to be a true best friend one must be patient towards their friend, there must be a mutual respect and above all else you should enjoy spending time together.
I can think of no other best friend you can have then your family pet. I hesitate to use the term family pet because I think that they are closer to being a best friend. In my opinion animals and especially dogs fit the bill of what is described as a best friend.
I have some “pawsome” news for everyone who feels like I do and considers their dog their best friend – a new dog themed box called Pet Treater.
What is Pet Treater? Pet Treater is a monthly subscription service that has your dog in mind. Basically each month they treat your best friend with quality times that you and your dog will love. The boxes generally include a treat and interactive toy as well as either a gadget to make you life eater or some other surprise! The most exciting part is that each box is different depending on the breed and size of your dog – and while there is a different you can expect to receive a box comparable to the one I am showing you here.
Here is a breakdown of the items that were in my Pet Treater box:
PetLou – 14″ Warthog plush: The first thing that I thought of when I saw this plush was the warthog from the Lion King. The plush is a good toy for play and cuddles! We named him Pumba in honor of our favorite bug eating warthog!
Happytime Edible Chews: This round chew treat is made with real chicken and contains vitamins and minerals and does not contain any salt, contains no sugar or preservatives as well as containing no artificial colors or fillers.
Nylabone – Romp and Chomp: This is a great toy that also includes treats. This is a refillable treat that went over very well. This refillable toy actually makes treats last longer and helps clean your dogs teeth and works best for moderate chewers.
I love Pet Head – Dirty Paws Foot Bath: I was really pleasantly surprised when I saw this because it seems as though it should be an item everyone gets when the adopt a dog! The idea is that you place water in the canister and stick a dirty paw in and with the enclosed microfiber towel.
Swiss Tech – Dog Leash Light: How many times have you been walking in a dark area and only had the assurance of your best four-legged friend. This is must have for any dog walker or dog owner – added safety for you and your Best Friend.
Full Moon Chicken Bacon Treats: These are 100% human grade treats that include simple ingredients such as chicken, brown rice flour, honey, salt, vinegar, dried ground celery, natural smoke flavoring, black carrot powder (for color), beet powder (for color), green tea extract as well as canola and lecithin. This is US grown chicken that is cage free and farm raised, what this means in an all natural product with no artificial ingredients. I had to taste these before I would let any friend of mine and they were surprisingly tasty – like chicken and bacon jerky.
Hedgehog Desk Tidy Prickly Pen Holder: I love that they included a cute treat for the human! I have looked for something to hold pens, so this was timely and perfect! It is cute and holds up to 23 pens – yes I tested them out to see holding ability.
Pet Bed – Scooby Doo: How did they know that I am a closet Scooby Doo fan! This bed was included free in my first box (and it could be included in your box as well – see below for a code to get one) and is really big! This bed measures a robust 34 inches long by 27 inches wide. It is soft fleece on one side and black nylon on the opposite side.
This is such an awesome box that I can not imagine not recommending it to everyone I know!! Run and fetch this box – you and your dog will love it!!
This is per their website : We ship out “Flash Sale” items right away, usually within 24 hours. Monthly boxes are shipped out three times per month. Here is a breakdown of when your box will ship. Orders placed / billed on the 7th – the 16th of the month ship on the 27th. Orders placed / billed on the 17th – the 26th of the month will ship on the 7th. And orders placed / billed on the 27th – 6th of the month will ship on the 17th. Pet Treater utilizes all methods of shipping available to us including Fedex, UPS, USPS and collaborations.
Monthly subscriptions are $24.99/month – month to month, $22.99/month – 3 month membership, $21.99/month – 6 month membership every other month and $19.99/month – 12 months membership, and $34.99/month for a one month try and shipping is included in the cost each month. Each plan is pay as you go other than the “try it out” and that is a one time fee.
