Meet Maverick!
Message from Rescue:
Gosh, isn’t he incredibly handsome? We think so and he is just a lovely, big guy who was waiting patiently in a local, New Jersey shelter for quite a while, hoping someone would adopt him. Maverick is 3.5 yrs. old, a Dutch Shepherd mix. He was surrendered to a local, N. J. shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. Rescue Ridge stepped up to save him and help him to find that special someone or family. Maverick walks nicely on a leash, is very sweet and friendly, takes toys, food, and treats gently, and enjoys his doggie play groups at the rescue. He keeps his kennel clean, is housebroken, and is a good boy. Maverick is excellent in the car so if you are looking for a wonderful co-pilot, here he is! Maverick knows “Sit”, “Paw” “Stay”, gives sweet kisses, and wants very much to find a home for the Holidays.
